The ParaInvite (and Pro addon) software package offers the complete viral invite solution for every community driven website. No community website is complete without an invites management system, and ParaInvite fills that role perfectly.

ParaInvite allows users to send invites to their contacts from their webmails (Yahoo!, Google Mail, Hotmail, Lycos, AOL, ICQ Mail etc) and social networks (Facebook, MySpace, Friendster etc). It is fully integrated with all the services provided by OpenInviter.

However, that's not all! Just like the Facebook's invite functionality, ParaInvite allows your users to track and manage their invites. They can check if their invites are successful, how many users signed up via their namecards/badges, and resend unaccepted invites. Invited users are automatically connected to inviters upon registering, and a detailed backend report is also available. NO OTHER invites solution for Joomla provides these features.

It is also integrated with several points/karma system (SMF, Fireboard, Karma CB plugin, or JomSocial's points system), allowing your users to earn points for inviting.

Contacts Import

ParaInvite integrates with OpenInviter for its contacts import scripts. The scripts are developed, maintained, updated and released separately by OpenInviter.

ParaInvite requires the General package from OpenInviter. You can download it here (requires registration and login). After downloading the package, unzip and upload the contents of the folder OpenInviter into the components/com_parainvite/OpenInviter folder.

Language and Styling

ParaInvite utilizes a language file for ease of customization, and every single displayed text can be modified through this language file. The language file can be located in the directory languages/gb-EN.

Every HTML element used by the software has its own CSS class for easy styling. The CSS file is in components/com_comprofiler/plug_parainvite/css.
