How can i change the color of awesome icons? Here in the demo are black, on my site they are white?

where can i change the "categories" ?

I would like the awesome icons to be black like here, and a bigger space between the name of the user logged in and the "ask a question" button, like in your demo. I know is somehow related to my template, but maybe you can help. And I can not find the the words "categories" appearing in the mobile version to translate it. Thank you for your help
