When I attempt to add a video to any contest it will upload and say its processing, show in the back end with thumbnail from video, but no .mp4 file will be created in entries folder.

So far the only videos that I am able to upload and play successfully are ones with this setting:
Length: doesn't matter
Frame W: 854
Frame H: 480
Data Rate: 25Kbps
Total Bitrate: 25Kbps
Frame rate: 29fps

I've tried adjusting the configuration > contests > video size and no difference. The size of the file uploaded is no longer an issue.

P2: this is not uploading for me currently - but as you can see from attached image, when I go back to view the video in the contest it says "no longer exist". The 1st video you saw me upload in the screencast works fine... its a second video that gets erase with no reason... show less

I must admit I'm a bit sceptical about the hosting environment and not sure if I set it up correctly. I took your recommendation and got the VPS with interserver ... its my 1st VPS so maybe I missed something and it's causing the component to not work correctly. However your help would be greatly appreciated on just setting this up to be a simply video contest with points purchase site..
