Here is a brief list of what changed:
New Features
- NO longer require JomSocial or Community Builder. Works standalone NOW!
- Points system
ParaInvite now has its own points system, where users can get points for every email invite sent and accepted, every social network invite sent and accepted, and every registration made through his badge. All this is configurable. - Supports JomSocial points system
- Supports JomSocial activity stream
- Supports AlphaUserPoints
- Configurable landing page for invite link
Instead of being directed to the registration page by default, admin can now configure a specific landing page which invited users will be directed to when they click on the link on their emails or badge-link. This is very useful if admins want to display a welcome page first. The invitation will still be tracked when the user registers. This new tracking system will make ParaInvite work with 3rd party systems like iDevAffiliate and AEC. - Resend social network invites
Users can now resend invites made to social networks, even across multiple networks. The interface is pretty impressive! - Permalink added to badges list
- Breadcrumbs
- Namecard link displayed on user profiles
- New tag {uid} in Email Invites body and Namecard body
This is especially useful for admins to provide more information about the inviter or namecard owner, by displaying links to their blogs, galleries etc. (eg http://www.domain.com/index.php?option=com_simgallery&func=dashboard&user={uid}) - Searchable backend invites statistics
- Selectable email and social network services
Admins can now select which email and social network services to display in the frontend. Instead of display a long list of services that your users do not use, you can now select just a few key ones.
Other Changes
- NO longer require JomSocial or Community Builder. Works standalone NOW! (needed the repeat!)
- Large amount of code rewrites to improve efficiency and ease of integration with other extensions
- Configuration is now stored in database. Reinstalling the component will not remove your previous config.
- Fixed all previous conflicts/issues with Facebook Connect plugins/modules
- Fixed bug where some invites are not tracked
- Fixed bug where invites history page does not function properly on some sites
- Removed dependency on Mootools 1.2. Now works with Joomla's Mootools without template modifications. Users can upgrade without worries.
- Better lightbox interface

Everytime Upgrading SIMAnswers and Parainvite is a pain.It loses all the configuration done before.
Is there anyway you can provide an autoupdater like what jreviews does.

The new ParaInvite stores its configuration in a table. You won't lose your configuration anymore! :)
Good that Parainvite works stand alone
But how is the integration in the Jomsocial friends invite system?!
In the previous system it made a link on the page, how do i integrate it now?
