Update from older version of SimGenealogy (1.x) to 2.x has caused front end rendering issues

Backend of component seems fine. All the users and trees show up and no rendering issues. When I go to the front end to view a family tree I get a SQL error and the page does not render the template or EasySocial. I'm running a 1.4.x version of EasySocial.
