Cannot delete custom fields

Hi,

Just created some text fields to store inexact birth and death dates.

While doing this I have found that the option to delete a custom field does not seem to work. I clicked on the trash can against a custom field and it did not work. This occurred on a PC using both Firefox and IE.

I also tested out creating fields in a new category and trying to delete them from the new category. This also did not work. However I was able to delete the new category (including the new fields in that category).
