Update: This works now. Thank you. However, the negative is now jomsocial photos will take up space on my server and slow it down.
My Profile pictures are not being retrieved from Amazon S3. Photos upload correctly, appear briefly and but then disappear.
Mike, I realize this is outside the scope of support.. But is there anyway to force the user to tag the photo? RIght now the edit button is small and hidden, do you have ideas to either force the user to tag the photo or make the Edit area more visible?

I've submitted a support ticket to hostgator. Photo uploads work correctly when used through Google Chrome browser. However, it does not work for Mozilla Firefox.

Mike, I have problems then. My keywords don't appear to work. Click "Edit" and no keywords are populated to select. Write the keyword and simgallery doesn't filter. Ideally, I thought my users would be able to select a list of keywords that I choose from. Would you advise on this, please?

I found it. There is a permissions tabs in the upper right corner that one can edit..and enable a user to upoad media.
