I have one request:
Could the in next version SIMGallery set a limit of loaded images depends on the resolution of the image?

I understand that at the moment php error depends on photo resolution and not its size.

Limit would be calculated on the basis of php.info - limit_memory,
eg. If the limit_memory = 64M - max resolution of image = 800 px,
If the limit_memory = 128M - max resolution of image = 1200 px, etc ...

Users vulnerable servers would get simply information,
and there would not be an error, that is difficult to find.

I talked to a server administrator:
They say that the error:

Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 36000001 bytes)

means that the max memory limit (268435456) has been exceeded by 36000001

I did a test - I Shrunk the memory limit to 64MB , has loaded the same picture and I received a strange error -

Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16000 bytes)

maximum limit has been exceeded by a smaller value - just 16000 bytes ??? show less

I increased in php.ini value memory_limit to 256MB - unfortunately does not work.

The file errors.log - did not show up again the message " fatal error ... " :(

thank you for the amendment.

I found a few problems:
1. SIMGallery not load images with higher resolution!
The problem now is not in the file size, but in its resolution.
I enclose two files

a) 2.87 MB (2048x1536) - it is OK - loads up

b) 905 kB (4000x2250) - Error - load a page preview and then hangs up!

2. I can not find a variable translating the phrase "File is too large" and "File type not allowed" - I did not find this in file "en-GB.com_simgallery.ini"

3. When I try to load a file, which is too large or unauthorized file type, it pops up an error message, but then it does not work the "Cancel" - When I try to get out to improve file and press "Cancel" it appears "Adding in progress ... " show less

Hello,
my site was disabled for several hours , becouse I moved my site to another server.
The new server has memory_limit = 192MB (old had 64MB ) .

Unfortunately , it helped only partially , I can upload pictures up to 600 KB (old server only 300kB) , larger (over 900KB ) do not load - after clicking "public" nothing happens .

The second problem:
After add small pictures (<650kB) is OK , but displays a window, where I can add a description and date of the image . When I click the "DONE" page does not redirect anywhere - all the time opens a window for editing .
I wish after click "DONE" display album .

Instead, it works on another computer (win7) without problems!
