Views - Search
A key feature of SIMAnswers is its search. A Q&A solution is only as useful as how easy it is for users to find relevant information, and SIMAnswers delivers here.
At the top of every page is the search bar. When users are viewing a question or a particular category, the search will automatically only search within that category (or sub-categories if they exist). Else, SIMAnswers will search within all categories.
When you type in the search bar, SIMAnswers detects your search words and automatically lists suggestions based on the relevance of its results, instead of just a direct match.
These preliminary results of this quick search will appear as a list below the search bar. Clicking on one of these results will direct the user straight to the question.
Users can also choose to display a full list of results by submitting the search (pressing enter). Four results list will appear:
- Relevance - results sorted by relevance, which is done by matching key words with the questions title and details.
- Newest - results listed with the latest first.
- Most Answers - if users are looking for answers.
- Least Answers - if users wish to provide their own answers for specific questions in specific categories (for example).

I have been using SimANSWERS for over a year on our educational website. It's an excellent component that comes in handy for Questions and Answers. The display is attractive, it is very easy to use and we have been using it to help students and our visitors on many educational topics.

Support here is excellent and you have timely updates. I have been using SimAnswers for over a year and they have been more than helpful. My questions have always been answered on time.

This is certainly a well thought out component, and is quite interesting. I especially like the "Interesting list" where users can in a sense "like" a post. Well done!
