Notifications and Activity Streams

SIMAnswers has its own notifications system, whilst also integrated with JomSocial and EasySocial's notification. Notifications are created when certain actions occur:
- Somebody you follow or your friend asks a question
- Somebody answers your question
- A question you follow receives an answer
- Your answer is selected as Best Answer
- A question you follow has chosen a Best Answer
- A question you follow has a new update
- When your answer receives a comment
- When you have a new follower
- When your question expires
If you have JomSocial or EasySocial installed, these notifications will also appear in their respective notification system.
- Activity Streams

This feature only applies if you have JomSocial, EasySocial or Community Builder installed. Certain activities are posted on a user's timeline. They are:
- When a user posts a new question
- When a user answers a question
- When a user comments on an answer
- When a user selects a Best Answer

I have been using SimANSWERS for over a year on our educational website. It's an excellent component that comes in handy for Questions and Answers. The display is attractive, it is very easy to use and we have been using it to help students and our visitors on many educational topics.

Support here is excellent and you have timely updates. I have been using SimAnswers for over a year and they have been more than helpful. My questions have always been answered on time.

This is certainly a well thought out component, and is quite interesting. I especially like the "Interesting list" where users can in a sense "like" a post. Well done!
